A journey of training and hopefully transforming! After taking up running mid 2011, I fell in love with it and hope to share my passion with others! When I started I couldn't run a bath! But now I can say I have completed several races including the Great North Run and have signed up for many more in 2012. |
DOMS! Serious muscle soreness going on today after this mornings session. I felt ok and managed the majority of it but at one point had to get some air as was feeling very dizzy and a bit sick. We did lots of different exercises at high intensity with a short break to have a drink and take a quick break. Was great to have someone there to push me and shout at me - made me keep going and not give up which I probably would have done if i’d been on my own. The worst exercise for me I felt was the press ups with runs at the end of them all done very low down and now I can seriously feel it in my quads and my core.
I’m really hoping that by sticking at this I’m going to see a big improvement and feel more comfortable with the exercises as time goes on. Back there at 7.30am so going to get plenty of sleep so I feel refreshed in the morning and hopefully my legs won’t hurt as much.
I’ve been following the diet plan and had a chicken salad for lunch and a beef stir fry for tea (very tasty). Need to go make my lunch for tomorrow - preparation is key! Oh and I mustn’t forget to pack the deep heat!!!!
