A journey of training and hopefully transforming! After taking up running mid 2011, I fell in love with it and hope to share my passion with others! When I started I couldn't run a bath! But now I can say I have completed several races including the Great North Run and have signed up for many more in 2012. |
So I was starting the eat clean trial on Monday but it hasn’t all gone to plan I’ve had a few naughty things and well quite frankly it’s no good! So here is February and I’m looking for it to be fantastic! I’ve been thinking of setting monthly goals as I think it’s a good idea to break up big goals into smaller ones and after seeing how fantastically people have done with January challenges I thought it would be a good idea to set myself one for Feb.
I will stick to my exercise plan and try to continue with my runstreak listening to my body if I start to get tired! Today was my second run in a row which felt great and I’ve heard good things from people who run everyday so plan to stick with it! I will start doing a strenthening and conditioning session at least twice per week to focus on my core, back, quads and glutes as well as targeting other areas that will help with my running and injury prevention. I will lose 7lbs minimum and stick to the eat clean plan - this is really important for me as I really need to shift some weight alongside the training.
Last night was a hill session with TBH, really enjoyed it and although it was hard - hills always are, I was out front for half the session and did the loops 5 times putting me with the people in the group above the one I normally am!
This morning was a mile run and spinning class :) feeling great and no pain/niggles to report!
